Q1 2026 Data Submission Reminder:

The New York State Sepsis Care Improvement Initiative reminds all hospitals that the New York State Sepsis Data Collection Portal is open April 1, 2026, through May 14, 2026, for submission of adult and pediatric data for Q1 of 2026 (discharge dates 01/01/2026 – 03/31/2026). Please ensure to submit your data before the May 14, 2026, deadline.

April Sepsis Collaborative Meeting Cancelled:

The New York State Department of Health and IPRO Sepsis Collaborative Meeting on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, is cancelled.

Please save the date for the next Sepsis Collaborative Meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 9 am. Meeting details for the May Sepsis Collaborative Meeting will be shared as they become available.

Adult and Pediatric Data Quality and Quarterly Report Delayed:

The New York State Sepsis Care Improvement Initiative would like to notify hospitals that the release of the Adult and Pediatric Data Quality and Quarterly reports for Reporting Period 4 of 2025 (10/01/2025 – 12/31/2025) has been delayed. We will share an announcement in the coming weeks once the reports are available to view. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
